Clinical Supervision

EMDR Trainer and Consultant Caroline Burrows, sits on a couch in her Melbourne clinic, looking at the camera.

I provide clinical supervision to Psychologists, Social Workers, Counsellors, and other mental health practitioners, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience from my 18 years of work across a range of community, hospital, university, and private settings. I have undergone supervisor training and have experience leading multidisciplinary allied health teams and developing mental health programs. My areas of clinical specialty are EMDR Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), dissociation, and trauma-informed practice. I facilitate case discussions and explore themes including clinical processes, ethical dilemmas, and organisational challenges. I emphasise the importance of self-care to prevent compassion fatigue and burnout.

Drawing on my experience as Founding Director of a successful group private practice, Mindful Living Counselling and Psychology, I also enjoy mentoring therapists to develop their own private practice. Additionally, I support Social Workers through the process of becoming an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. I’m approachable, warm and encouraging in my style, and like to think that I’m a great choice of supervisor for both newly trained therapists and seasoned clinicians. You’re welcome to access clinical supervision with me on either a regular or 'as needed' basis. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to discuss your needs.

My clinical supervision sessions are offered online via Zoom. The investment for a 55-minute supervision session is $260 AUD.
